Those farmers feed you!
The Central FFA and Ag Program partnered with the Drivers Education classes to educate students on the potential dangers that are involved with sharing the road with farming implements. Students were able to sit in a tractor pulling an implement, as well as a trailing car to compare the visibility differences and identify potential blind spots. Students then were asked to apply their knowledge from this event to their personal lives through different scenarios the students created themselves.
We want to thank the Lenz and Butts families for providing the tractors for the students to utilize, as well as the Central High School and District 301 Administrations for allowing us to provide this great opportunity for these students to partake in today.
We hope that this event will help keep the students and the roads safe during the upcoming farming seasons.
