Regional Career Pathways

Welder working on metal

District 301 is excited to partner with other area school districts to offer Regional Career Pathways to our students. By partnering together, students in districts U-46, 300, 301, and 303 can participate in select Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in districts other than their own. For the 2018-2019 school year, three programs will be offered:

  • Veterinary Science
  • Precision Manufacturing
  • Welding

Each of these programs will provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to prepare for a future career in these fields. Students will have the opportunity to participate in internships and many can earn industry-recognized certifications. For the 2018-2019 school year, these Regional Career Pathways will be open to sophomores (current freshmen) in participating districts.

For more information about the Regional Career Pathways, please speak with your school counselor by Friday, November 10th.
